11 NYPD vehicles vandalized at new Queens precinct stationhouse

Eleven NYPD vehicles were vandalized at a new Queens police precinct stationhouse, cops said Tuesday.

The suspect damaged the parked cars, which were both marked NYPD and unmarked, with an unknown object around 11:19 p.m. Monday at the 116th Precinct near North Conduit Ave. and 244th St. in Rosedale.

No one was inside any of the vehicles when the incident occurred, cops said.

The suspect may have thrown rocks or objects through the vehicle’s windows, according to ABC7.

No arrests have been made.

The new, $105 million stationhouse opened in December 2024 as Mayor Adams and the NYPD hailed the first new police precinct to be designated in more than 10 years.

The 116th Precinct, located at 244-04 North Conduit Ave., covers parts of Rosedale, Springfield Gardens, Brookville and Laurelton that were previously covered by the 105th and 113th precincts.
