Twelve people were injured — including one in critical condition — in a raging Bronx building fire Wednesday afternoon, the FDNY said.
Around 60 firefighters battled the blaze that erupted at 4:08 p.m. near Ryer Ave. and East 181st St. in Fordham Heights; the fire was brought under control at 4:55 p.m., officials said.
Nine people suffered minor injuries, one person was in critical condition and two others had serious but non-life threatening injuries, the FDNY said, adding EMS transported the injured to nearby hospitals.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
