LOSE THE GAME?
Many Giants fans view landing the No. 1 pick in April’s NFL Draft as the only possible victory available to them at this point. If the Giants are tanking, key decision makers in the organization feel this way, too. So for those people, a loss to Indianapolis is the top — and only — key to a win.
STOP JONATHAN TAYLOR
The Colts’ running back bounced back from a brutal fumble against the Broncos to rack up rack up 218 rushing yards and three TDs against the Tennessee Titans last week. Now he draws the worst run defense in the sport. If the Giants are actually trying to win the game, they have to limit Taylor for all four quarters. Because New York’s offense can’t score.
CUT OUT KILLER MISTAKES
Turnovers, pre-snap penalties and poor game management constantly undercuts the Giants’ offensive operation. They can barely do anything right. And when they do, they do something wrong to negate their minimal progress. Whether it’s the playcalling, the quarterback play, the personnel deployment, the production or the commitment of players to do the right thing, everybody has to improve on offense across the board.
