Three teenagers have been indicted in the the fatal shooting of an aspiring TikTok influencer near a Jersey Shore boardwalk over the summer, officials announced.
Dwayne Exilus and Isaiah Walker, both 19, and 18-year-old Jahbron Goff, are each facing charges of second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon and conspiracy, third-degree hindering and fourth-degree possession of a prohibited weapon, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said in a statement on Monday.
Goff, who was initially prosecuted as a juvenile, was also indicted on counts of first-degree murder and second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. Exilus and Walker, meanwhile face an additional charge of third-degree hindering the apprehension of another, Santiago said.
The victim, Chrystofer Whyte, had collected nearly 100,000 followers on TikTok when he was gunned down on the beach at Pier Village on June 12, 2025. His last video, an 11-second clip, was shot on the same Long Branch beach — packed that night for the first outdoor concert of the season — just a few hours before his death. Officers found Whyte suffering from a single gunshot wound “in an area between the shoreline and the boardwalk” around 9 p.m., according to the prosecutor’s office.
Whyte, a recent graduate of Woodbridge High School, was pronounced dead on the scene, police said. He was 18 years old.
Authorities have provided few other details Whyte’s death.

“He was doing TikTok full time and he was making a good living with it, too,” he said. “Some of these kids started calling him names in the comments during a TikTok Live video. This whole situation was about egos, back and forth online.”
