50 Cent gushes over Taylor Swift shoutout on ‘Ruin the Friendship’

Fiddy is all giddy when it comes to Tay-Tay’s new music.

50 Cent is hyped about Taylor Swift giving him a shoutout on her new album, “The Life of Showgirl,” which dropped on Friday.

The hip-hop mogul publicly shared his reaction on social media about being mentioned in the lyrics to “Ruin the Friendship.”

“@taylorswift s–t is popping right now,” he captioned an Instagram post of the album’s cover art. “She shout me out. She don’t shout you out. LOL. THIS IS FOR BIG TIMERS ONLY! Wait I’m the only shout out on the whole album.”

On the buzzy track, which some had previously speculated could be about Swift’s estranged bestie Blake Lively, she reflects on moments that have passed her by and regrets not having taken more risks.

“Have fun, it’s prom / Wilted corsage dangles from my wrist / Over his shoulder I catch a glimpse / And see you looking at me,” she sings in the song. “And it was not an invitation / But as the 50 Cent song played / Should’ve kissed you anyway.”

As the 50-year-old “Get Rich or Die Tryin’” star noted in his social media post, he’s seemingly the only living celebrity name-dropped on the 12-track opus, though Swift actually titled an entire song after a Hollywood legend.

On “Elizabeth Taylor,” the 14-time Grammy Award winner draws comparisons between herself and the late silver screen star, who was just as famous for her love life as she was for films like “Cleopatra” and “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.”
