A gunfire exchange erupted between two rival motorcycle gangs outside a Wawa in Pennsylvania, leaving six people wounded.
The shooting unfolded at a store on West Main Street in West Norriton Township shortly after 9 p.m. on Friday, police said in a press release.
Investigators said six people were wounded during the shooting and were then transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. Their conditions were unknown as of Saturday afternoon.
Police said there’s no ongoing threat to the public, adding that it appears the shooting involved members of two rival motorcycle gangs. None of their identities had been released and it was unclear whether all of those injured were gang members.
Authorities requested that residents of West Norriton Township avoid the Wawa and surrounding area amid the ongoing investigation. They asked that anyone with information about the gunfire contact the West Norriton Township Police Department or Montgomery County Detectives.
