Meghan Trainor reacts to fans who say she’s unrecognizable in TikTok

All about that clap back.

Meghan Trainor is responding to critics who accused her of looking unrecognizable in the viral Nicki Minaj TikTok Challenge, which she shared last week.

In the video, Trainor wore black and white athleisure clothes and rocked a high ponytail as she balanced precariously on an upturned dumbbell.

But Trainor’s balance skills got upstaged by fans who commented things like “No way this is Meghan Trainor” and “I didn’t even recognize her.” Some even claimed she looked more like Ariana Grande or Paris Hilton than herself.

So, Trainor made another TikTok over the weekend and slammed the negativity by lip-synching to audio from Megan Thee Stallion’s song “Her.”

“I don’t care if these bitches don’t like me,” Trainor, 31, mouthed. “‘Cuz like I’m pretty as f–k. Just the other day, I heard a hoe say, matter of fact what could a hoe say with a face like this and bitch this paid. Sh-t.”

Trainor captioned the clip, “Glam team really did that 🤍@Danyul Brown @eros @hairbyiggy #megantheestallion.”

Earlier this year, rampant speculation over Trainor’s physical transformation led to her admitting that she used a weight loss drug to slim down.

In a March 31 Instagram post from her appearance at the Billboard’s Women in Music Awards, Trainor gave a “shoutout” to Mounjaro — a drug used to treat Type 2 diabetes — as she admitted it was “a little disheartening that so many of the questions (and comments) were focused on my body instead of my music, my passion, or the decade of hard work that got me here.”

“I’ve worked with a dietician, made huge lifestyle changes, started exercising with a trainer, and yes, I used science and support (shoutout to Mounjaro!) to help me after my 2nd pregnancy,” the “All About That Bass” singer wrote. “And I’m so glad I did because I feel great.”

Trainor also acknowledged that she doesn’t look the same as she did “10 years ago” but has since morphed into the “healthiest, strongest version” of herself.

In March, the Grammy winner also revealed to People that she underwent a breast augmentation after “having two kids, living a healthier lifestyle and losing weight.”

“I have never been more comfortable in my body,” she shared. “Maybe it’s because I’m in my 30s now and I’m better. I’ve been working with a therapist for a long time, trying to rewire my brain to love myself more.”

She and “Spy Kids” actor Daryl Sabara have been married since 2018 and are parents of sons Riley, 4, and Barry, 2.
