John Fogerty new music
On Aug. 22, Fogerty dropped “Legacy: the Creedence Clearwater Revival Years (John’s version).”
As hinted at above, the pristine record features 20 tracks and sounds almost indistinguishable from the original versions of the songs you know and love, other than a little remastering. Still, the grit remains.
To hear all the bona-fide bops all over again, you can find “Legacy: the Creedence Clearwater Revival Years (John’s version) here.
Hearty Har
For the uninitiated, Hearty Har is a a rock band from Los Angeles, formed in 2012. Led by brothers Shane (guitar/vocals) and Tyler Fogerty (guitar/vocals), the group has a snaky, funky, fuzzed-out sound that will have you boogie-ing in no time.
Think The Black Keys’ groovy bass lines with a little Booker T. and the MGs thrown in for good measure.
We can’t get enough of their disco-fried rocker “Can’t Keep Waiting” and shockingly spooky “Scream and Shout!”
