Look what you made “Jeopardy!” do.
The game show apologized for dissing Travis Kelce’s relationship with Taylor Swift after a shady clue upset the couple’s fan base.
“Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? is hosted by this man who’s maybe more famous as a BF than a 3-time Super Bowl champ,” read the $200 clue about Kelce, 35.
Over the weekend, the official “Jeopardy!” Instagram account posted a photo of the clue, with the caption, “Sorry to this man 😆 #Jeopardy!”
Unsurprisingly, the post elicited an even bigger response from the “Traylor” fans who were bothered by the question.
“He’s absolutely fine being famous for that because he’s a secure man,” one fan said in the comments.
“I knew him before Taylor’s relationship,” insisted a different fan.
Other viewers defended the Ken Jennings-hosted game show for poking fun at Kelce and Swift, 34.
“I think it was a great question, not to mention it’s the truth,” one fan said.
“It is true. NOT everyone is a football fan,” another person said.
Somebody else wrote, “I’ve been a Chiefs fan forever, and even though he was famous in the football world before, his level of fame is no doubt because of Taylor.”
Kelce and Swift have been romantically linked since September 2023. Swift has attended a slew of Chiefs games over the past year to support her boyfriend, while Kelce has been spotted at numerous Swift concerts.
As the “Jeopardy!” clue said, Kelce also made his game show host debut in October, hosting Prime Video’s “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?”
In the show, celebrities help contestants answer trivia questions about a variety of topics, for a $100,000 prize.
Nicole Byer, Nikki Glaser, Lala Kent, Chad Ochocinco, Ron Funches, Natasha Leggero and Lilly Singh are among the competing celebs.
“We had so many unbelievable guests and celebrities, familiar faces, however you want to call them — it was just so genuine and so much fun to be a part of,” Kelce said about the quiz show in an interview with Today last month.
“Everybody was just so fun to work with that it didn’t really feel like work,” he added.
Kelce is also a newly minted actor, co-starring on the FX show “Grotesquerie.”
Emmy-winning actress Niecy Nash, who stars on the show, told The Post about working with Kelce, “Travis Kelce is greedy, he does eat a lot. A lot! But other than me teasing him about that, we really had a good time working together.”
