Influencer Raymond Harper, known as ‘Rolling Ray,’ dead at 28



Social media star and reality TV personality Rolling Ray has died at age 28.

The influencer, whose real name was Raymond Harper, passed away on Wednesday, though details of his death have not yet been released.

The Zeus Network, where Ray appeared on multiple shows including the dating competition “Bobby I Love You, Purrr,” released a statement confirming the news.

“Gone way too soon,” the network wrote on Instagram. “#RestInPeace to the BIG hearted, most Raw, & REAL FRIEND & #Zeus Star #RaymondHarper aka @iamrollingray.”

“Your Laughter, Light, & Loving Spirit will Live on FOREVER!” they added. “You were Unapologetically & Authentically your TRUEST Self.”

Heartfelt tributes poured in online to honor the internet sensation, including one from Cardi B.

Rolling Ray was a menace lmaoo… but he changed soo much and became so positive,” the “Bodak Yellow” rapper wrote on X. “I know that soul made it to heaven…You will truly be missed BIG PURRRR!!!”

Ray, branding himself on social media as “the most famous boy inna wheelchair,” rose to fame with viral clips in which his quick wit and vibrant personality garnered him nearly 450,000 followers on Instagram.

In addition to shows on the Zeus Network, Ray also made appearances on MTV’s “Catfish: Trolls” and a 2019 episode of “Divorce Court.”

Ray’s death came two days before he would have celebrated his 29th birthday.
