Where to buy last-minute tickets, best prices

On Saturday, Sept. 6, Adam Sandler headlined the second show of his nationwide ‘You’re My Best Friend Tour’ at Tampa’s Benchmark International Arena.

Per usual, the “Saturday Night Live” alum did not disappoint.

“Sandler kept the crowd laughing non-stop with his classic mix of goofy songs and sharp comedy,” Tampa Bites and Sites shared on TikTok. “Vanilla Ice popped onstage…and Rob Schneider crushed it with his set, too.”

“Overall, the whole night felt like a throwback treat…funny, nostalgic and totally worth it.”

If this sounds like the the comedy show of your dreams, tickets are available for all 35 remaining gigs — including shows at New York City’s Madison Square Garden (Sept. 15), Albany’s MVP Arena (Sept. 16), Syracuse’s Upstate Medical Arena (Sept. 17) and Buffalo’s KeyBank Center (Sept. 21) — on the summer/fall run.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on tickets for any one Sandman show was $50 including fees on Vivid Seats.

Other performances have seats going for anywhere from $53 to $223 including fees.

Based on our findings at Set List FM, the “Happy Gilmore” star performed a whopping 37 songs with titles like “Grandma’s on Ozempic,” “Bagel,” “Mismatched Nipples,” “Farley” (a tearjerking tribute to his late friend) and “So Much Fun F—ing You” in Tampa that night.

While we don’t know if Vanilla Ice and Rob Schneider will stick around on the tour (Kevin James, Kevin Nealon and comedian Joseph Vecsey also appeared at the Tampa show as well for a “Play That Funky Music” cover), we do know the best way to find out is live.

Adam Sandler upcoming projects

The mighty Sandman always has a few irons in the fire.

Here’s what’s coming next for the prolific comedian, courtesy of IMDb.

Jay Kelly is a return to the goofball’s serious side. Noah Baumbach writes and directs this film (yes, film!) about Jay Kelly who “everyone knows” but he “doesn’t know himself.” George Clooney, Laura Dern, Greta Gerwig, Isla Fisher and Patrick Wilson round out the A-List ensemble.

Roommates comes from soon-to-be-breakout comedy masterminds Chandler Levack (“I Like Movies”), Jimmy Fowlie (“Saturday Night Live”) and Ceara O’Sullivan (“Saturday Night Live”). Here, “a bright-eyed freshman’s decision to room with a popular student leads to what starts as an exciting new friendship but gradually transforms into a subtle battle of wills.” Co-starring Sadie Sandler, Natasha Lyonne, Nick Kroll, Sarah Sherman and Storm Reid.

Untitled Adam Sandler/Safdie Brothers project has been teased for years following the woulda-been awards season powerhouse “Uncut Gems.” The reported logline of this one — which would allegedly co-star Steve Harvey and Megan Thee Stallion — is “set in the world of high-end sports card collecting in the 1990s [where] a retired baseball pitcher attempts a comeback as a sports memorabilia agent attempts to capitalize on his success.”
