Charlie Sheen teases return to acting amid memoir, doc

Charlie Sheen could soon return to the screen, and not just for his explosive Netflix documentary out this week.

The Emmy-nominated “Two and a Half Men” alum, 60, teased his return to acting when speaking to TMZ in his native New York on Tuesday — one day before the release of “aka Charlie Sheen,” and the same day his memoir, “The Book of Sheen,” hit shelves.

Asked what’s next after the hotly anticipated documentary and tell-all, Sheen said, “Something… something I haven’t done for a long time.”

TMZ pressed further, asking whether the “Wall Street” star was alluding to acting.

“Whatever’s supposed to happen next is what will happen,” said Sheen, who appeared in three episodes of “Bookie” between 2023 and 2024, but has otherwise been off the screen since 2019.

His role in “Ramble On,” created by Doug Ellin of “Entourage” fame, remains in post-production, though TMZ reports the show has long been in production purgatory.

Sheen, who has been sober for the past eight years, also told the outlet he “feels better” having gone public about the sexual encounters he had with men during the height of his substance abuse. He said the current state of his sex life is “asked and answered” within his book and documentary.

Sheen told People last week that those experiences were “born or sparked” during his use of crack.

“In whatever chunks of time that I was off the pipe, [I was] trying to navigate that, trying to come to terms with it — ‘Where did that come from?… Why did that happen?’” he said, ultimately arriving at a mindset of “‘So what?’ … Some of it was weird. A lot of it was f–king fun, and life goes on.”

Sheen also told “Good Morning America” earlier this month that was “probably” a sex addict during that period of his life.
