Two teens shot in East Harlem in front of NYPD stationhouse


Two teenagers were shot Monday evening in East Harlem in front of an NYPD stationhouse during police-involved gunfire, cop sources told the Daily News.

Multiple gunshots erupted outside Police Service Area 5 near East 123rd St. and Third Ave., a block away from the Wagner Houses, where a 15-year-old boy was shot in the left knee and another teen was hit in the leg.

A 40-year-old man who lives in the neighborhood told The News he heard numerous shots, noting “everyone was running.”

EMS transported the injured teens to Harlem Hospital, where both youngsters were in stable condition.

No officers were injured in the shooting, sources told The News.
