NYPD cop arrested at his Brooklyn stationhouse for stolen license plate

An NYPD cop was arrested on the job at his Brooklyn stationhouse Tuesday after he was found in possession of a stolen license plate, officials said.

Officer David Carrasco, 26, was busted for petty larceny and possession of stolen property inside the 67th Precinct stationhouse on Snyder Ave. in East Flatbush about 3:25 a.m., cops said.

Carrasco had just been transferred to that precinct from the 60th Precinct in Coney Island, cops said.

The three-year NYPD veteran was arrested after he was found in possession of a license plate that had been reported missing, a police source said.

Cops released Carrasco with a desk appearance ticket to appear in court at a later date.
