Cardi B ‘Little Miss Drama’ arena tour to NYC next year

Cardi B is pulling out all the stops to hype up her new album, “Am I The Drama?” which drops this week.

The Grammy Award-winning hip hop superstar, who went viral for hosting a ‘Bodega Baddie”’ pop-up in Washington Heights on Saturday and selling compact discs on the subway, on Tuesday announced her first tour in six years.

The Little Miss Drama Tour will consist of more than 30 dates hitting arenas starting on Feb. 11 in Palm Desert, Calif. and wrapping up in Atlanta on April 17. The rapper will hit the New York City area with stops at Madison Square Garden on March 25 and Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. on March 28. Tickets for the general public go on sale Sept. 25.

“Little Miss Drama Tour marks Cardi B’s first full headline arena run and the biggest tour of her career to date,” promoter Live Nation said. “The tour will see her headline iconic venues for the very first time, including the Kia Forum in Los Angeles and Madison Square Garden in her hometown of New York City.”

The former stripper and “Love & Hip Hop: New York” star is set to release her eagerly anticipated sophomore album on Friday. On Monday, she took to social media to tease the list of collaborators for the project, writing “WHO ELSE IS THE DRAMA?” before revealing the names Cash Cobain, Janet Jackson, Kehlani, Lizzo, Megan Thee Stallion, Selena Gomez, Summer Walker and Tyla.

Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, is in the midst of hosting meet-and-greet events across the country to support the new album.

The Bronx-born rapper joked in a video announcement of her return to in-person promotion that, after filming the “Imaginary Playerz” music video, her record label cut her budget to $50, so she’d have to resort to selling the CDs herself.
