Charlie Sheen says Bill Clinton tried to hit on his girlfriend in the ’80s

Charlie Sheen is claiming that Bill Clinton tried to steal his girlfriend.

In his new memoir, “The Book of Sheen,” the 60-year-old actor said the alleged incident happened while he was filming 1987’s “Three for the Road” with Alan Ruck and Kerri Green in Arkansas.

Clinton, who was the governor of Arkansas at the time, welcomed the trio to his mansion for a photo-op, claimed Sheen, who brought along his girlfriend at the time, Dolly Fox.

“It was pretty surreal as Governor Clinton gave me a pair of red-and-white Razorback shoes, intentionally tacky and modeled after the mascot of Arkansas’ sports teams,” Sheen wrote.

“I was answering a reporter’s question when Ruck overheard Clinton whisper to one of his aides, ‘Find out what you can about the brunette,’” the “Two and a Half Men” alum recalled. “The brunette was Dolly.”

Sheen claimed that Ruck, 69, still “swears it was an exact quote” by Hillary Clinton’s longtime husband.

“Clearly the behavior that transformed an intern a few years later into a household name had been in play long before her blue dress became famous,” Sheen said, referring to Clinton’s infamous affair with Monica Lewinsky. “It was quite the moment in time to be ringside for that slice of creepy history.”

When Clinton’s impeachment hearing took place in 1999, Sheen was in rehab, he said, and told his fellow patients the story about Clinton and Fox.

“I was still pretty faded on detox meds and no one believed me,” Sheen wrote. “I literally said out loud to the group huddled around the TV, ‘It’s kool, I’ll put it in a book one day and you can all go f–k yourselves.’ (And here we are).”

“I felt bad for Dolly to be objectified and skeeved-out like that,” Sheen went on, “but still had to take some pride in ‘Bubba’ fancying my gal. Alan gave Dolly the rundown in the bar later on that same night. To her credit, she laughed and was actually flattered.”

Sheen’s memoir was released concurrently with his two-part Netflix documentary, “aka Charlie Sheen.” In both projects, Sheen opens up about his childhood, his rise to fame in Hollywood, and his addiction battle.

The documentary features appearances by his ex-wives, Denise Richards and Brooke Mueller, fellow actors Jon Cryer, Sean Penn and Chris Tucker, “Two and a Half Men” creator Chuck Lorre and his former drug dealer.

Speaking about his memoir during recent a sit-down interview with David Duchovny, Sheen said, “I wanted it to feel like the reader was kind of in the room with me or at the small dinner party hearing this story.”

He added, “Writing the book was the most challenging job I’ve ever had and hands down the most rewarding one.”
