Shia LaBeouf once threatened to ‘fist fight’ pro-Trump conservative mentor Jon Voight

Shia LeBeouf once threatened to burst into his “mentor” Jon Voight’s house and beat the veteran actor up for supporting President Trump — and then proceeded to cut him out of his life for years.

LeBeouf, 39, made the shocking revelations Monday in the documentary “Megadoc,” which explores the 2024 Francis Ford Coppola box-office flop “Megalopolis” that he starred in alongside 86-year-old Oscar winner.

“We had a big fight on the phone where I told him I was going to come to his house, and we were going to fist fight, and I hung up the phone,” LaBeouf revealed in the documentary.

“Didn’t talk to him for years.”

That blow-out happened around 2016 when Trump first won the presidency — and came after more than a decade of Voight mentoring LeBeouf from child actor into an A-list Hollywood star.

The pair first met around 2003 on the set of “Holes,” and then worked again on the 2007 blockbuster “Transformers” movie.

“He was like my mentor from a young age,” LaBeouf said, recalling how Voight made a point of taking him under his wing and showing him the industry ropes. “He was like the first real actor I ever met.”

But while LaBeouf was a staunch never-Trumper — in 2017 he even created an NYC art installation called “He Will Not Divide Us” where people were encouraged to chant protests slogans Trump on camera — Voight has been a vocal Trump supporter from the start.

Voight has bucked left-leaning Hollywood trends and endorsed Trump for each of his presidential campaigns — and was even named “special ambassador” to Hollywood alongside Sylvester Stallone and Mel Gibson when the president vowed to “Make Hollywood Great Again” by increasing movie production in the states.

“Voight’s politics and mine are very different,” LaBeouf said in “Megadoc,” Fox News reported.

But LaBeouf and Voight have since made amends, and all is peaceful between the mentor and student again.

“I was in the midst of doing my ninth step in this program I’m in, and I had to go make amends to Voight,” LaBeouf. “I love him very much.”
