A man was gunned down Wednesday night just blocks from Brooklyn’s sprawling Prospect Park, cops said.
The 24-year-old victim was running away from an attacker when he was shot multiple times in the chest around 8:44 p.m. in front of a building near Crooke and Ocean Aves. in Flatbush, police sources said.
EMS transported the man to Kings County hospital, where later died.
One person was taken into custody following the shooting, and a gun was recovered, sources said. Charges were pending Wednesday night.
