Taylor Swift was shrouded by umbrellas Friday afternoon as she disembarked a private flight in Southern California, where her bestie Selena Gomez is tying the knot with Benny Blanco this weekend.
Photos and video published by TMZ show the “Love Story” crooner deplaning at Santa Barbara Airport under the cover of no les than four black umbrellas as she made her way into a waiting vehicle. Just a portion of her left arm, dark dress and black bag were visible.
Gomez, 33, and 37-year-old music producer Blanco — responsible for hits like Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself,” Kesha’s “Tik Tok” and Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream” — have been together since 2023. They’re set to wed on Sunday at a private estate in nearby Montecito, with over 170 expected to attend.

Unlike Swift, Gomez’s “Only Murders in the Building” co-stars Steve Martin, Martin Short and Paul Rudd appeared unfazed by the cameras as they were photographed chatting on the patio of the luxe El Encanto Hotel ahead of the rehearsal dinner.
While Friday wasn’t the first time Swift has attempted to hide while getting from one place to another — such as when she was seen apparently being transported in a janitor’s cart during the Eras Tour — the pop superstar and her fandom have been on especially high alert in recent weeks.
Earlier this month, Swift attended her fiancé Travis Kelce’s football game, where she was reportedly seen surrounded by guards while shielded by a bullet-resistant screen. Some fans speculated the heightened security was due to the killing of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk, who had spoken out against Swift’s liberal beliefs just two weeks before his death.
Then on Monday, news broke that a process server was arrested on Sept. 15 after jumping over Kelce’s fence in an attempt to serve the songstress with deposition papers from Justin Baldoni’s attorneys.
Swift’s estranged best friend Blake Lively has accused Baldoni of sexual harassment on the set of their 2024 film, “It Ends With Us,” and a retaliatory smear campaign. The case is slated to go to trial in New York City in March.
In a win for her safety, Swift on Monday was granted a five-year restraining order against alleged stalker Brian Jason Wagner, who she claims has come to her home multiple times and insisted she’s the mother of his son.
