Bad Bunny to headline 2026 Super Bowl halftime show

Bad Bunny will headline the 2026 Super Bowl Halftime show.

The Puerto Rican singer will take the stage midway through Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. on Feb. 8.

NBC, which will broadcast the game, announced the decision during halftime of “Sunday Night Football” with a teaser featuring the song “Callaíta.”

“What I’m feeling goes beyond myself,” Bad Bunny said in a statement. “It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown… this is for my people, my culture and our history. Ve y dile a tu abuela, que seremos el HALFTIME SHOW DEL SUPER BOWL.”

Bad Bunny was previously a guest performer during the 2020 halftime show with Shakira and Jennifer Lopez.

Taylor Swift was reportedly in talks with the NFL to perform but the two sides could not come an agreement on multiple fronts.

Last year’s performer was Kendrick Lamar, who brought along SZA, and dazzled the audience with “Not Like Us,” reportedly drawing an audience larger than the game itself and later winning the Creative Emmy for outstanding music direction.

Beyoncé, Rihanna, The Weeknd, Lady Gaga, Madonna, Bruce Springsteen, Prince and many others have previously performed at the Super Bowl, which is typically the most-watched live performance of the year and a ratings bonanza.

The 2026 show will be presented by Apple Music.
