‘Duck Dynasty’ star Silas ‘Uncle Si’ Robertson hospitalized

Silas “Uncle Si” Robertson is prioritizing his health.

Justin Martin, a longtime employee and friend of the Robertson family’s Duck Commander business, revealed that the “Duck Dynasty” star, 77, has been hospitalized.

Martin took to social media on Wednesday to share an update on Si’s recovery.

“Before any rumors get started, yes Uncle Si is in the hospital,” he wrote on Instagram. “He’s doing very well but was having a little trouble whooping a severe sinus infection.”

“He’s very much on the mend and will be discharged soon,” Martin concluded. “It’s awesome to be surrounded by guys who practice what they preach. Full story will drop on the @duckcallroom soon!”

Fans flocked to the comments section to share their well wishes for the A&E star.

Viewers were first introduced to Si in 2012 on “Duck Dynasty.”

Si’s brother, Phil Robertson, founded Duck Commander in 1972, with the show premiering 40 years later. The series ran on A&E until 2017.

The original show featured Phil Robertson, who died in May 2025, his wife Kay Robertson, and their sons Willie Robertson, Jep Robertson and Jase Robertson.

Willie, 53, and his wife, Korie Robertson, 51, daughter Sadie Robertson, 28, and son John Luke Robertson, 29, also starred.

In 2014, Phil’s homophobic and racially insensitive comments in a GQ magazine article sparked backlash and led to a brief suspension by the network.

After eight years off the air, the iconic reality show returned to television in June.

The two-season reboot, titled “Duck Dynasty: The Revival,” consists of 20 one-hour episodes.

The new series followed Willie and Korie and “their growing family of adult children and grandchildren, the next generation of Robertsons living on the family homestead in Louisiana,” per the network’s press release in January.

Willie and Korie’s other children, including Will Jr., Bella, 23, and Rebecca, 36, also made an appearance alongside Si, Kay and Sadie.

When the news broke, Sadie took to social media.

“Secret’s out! 🦆 Our family is going back home to A&E with #DuckDynasty: The Revival!” she penned.

“It’s wild to think how much has changed, but also how much has stayed the same. New kids, new spouses, new businesses, new fun…ALL the generations and no end to the adventures (and yes, probably some misadventures too)! 😂”

Just one week prior to the show’s launch, the Robertson family announced that Phil passed away after a battle with Alzheimer’s disease. He was 79.

“We celebrate today that our father, husband, and grandfather, Phil Robertson, is now with the Lord,” Korie shared in a statement. “He reminded us often of the words of Paul, ‘You do not grieve like those who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.’”

Sadie, for her part, wrote: “It was his testimony that changed his life, our families life, and thousands of others. Now he is experiencing it in the fullness. Fully alive in Christ. The new has come. One of the last things he said to me was ‘full strength ahead!’ Amen!”

A week later, the reality star celebrated the debut of “Duck Dynasty: The Revival.”

“It’s officially here 🥹👏🤠🦆feeling so overwhelmed and grateful to be part of @duckdynastyae and all that comes with it! My family is so thankful for all of the love and support from you all, the prayers you have prayed (this week especially!), and the gift it is to shine the light of Christ wherever we are,” Sadie penned on Instagram.

“I pray that this show would bring you together with those around you through faith, family & ducks (and laughter!!)”
