“Full House” star Lori Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, have gone their separate ways after nearly 28 years of marriage.
“They are living apart and taking a break from their marriage,” a representative for Loughlin confirmed to People on Thursday, adding they have yet to move forward with a divorce.
Married since November 1997, the actress and fashion designer are parents to two daughters — Olivia Jade, 26, and Isabella Rose, 27.
The couple were infamously embroiled in the college admissions scandal back in 2019 when they were accused of paying $500,000 in bribes to help their daughters get accepted into the University of Southern California using fake athletic records.
The girls were accepted into the school as crew team recruits despite having no competitive experience in the sport.
After pleading guilty in 2020, Loughlin served nearly two months at the low-security Federal Correction Institution in Dublin, about 35 miles east of San Francisco. Giannulli was incarcerated for five months at the Federal Correctional Complex Lompoc prison, north of Los Angeles.
The federal government’s investigation into the scandal, coined “Operation Varsity Blues,” implicated dozens of wealthy parents as well as college administrators and athletic coaches. Oscar-nominated actress Felicity Huffman also served jail time for her involvement in the scheme.
