Former Jets QB Mark Sanchez stabbed, critically wounded in Indianapolis


Former Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez was reportedly stabbed in Indianapolis, leaving him hospitalized with critical injuries.

The violence unfolded on a street downtown early Saturday morning just after 12:30 a.m., TMZ Sports reported.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found two people wounded, including the former first-round draft pick. He was rushed to the hospital, though his exact condition was unclear.

No further information about the incident was provided, including details about the second person involved.

Sanchez, who was in Indianapolis for his broadcasting gig with FOX Sports, was supposed to call Sunday’s Colts vs. Raiders game at Lucas Oil Stadium.
