Chris Noth repeatedly forgot actress who played Mr. Big’s wife

Bridget Moynahan claims Chris Noth repeatedly forgot who she was during their “Sex and the City” days, when they played spouses Natasha and Mr. Big on the hit HBO series.

Moynahan, 54, who played Carrie Bradshaw’s younger, taller, unwitting romantic rival, said during an appearance on Kristin Davis’ “Are You a Charlotte?” podcast that Noth would reintroduce himself “every time” they worked together.

“[I was] like, ‘Dude, I’m your wife,’” she laughed.

Moynahan, who first appeared in season 2’s penultimate episode and popped up frequently during season 3, said it was only after she left the show that Noth remembered her name and character.

“Years later, we’d bump into each other in California. He’s like, ‘And there’s my wife,’” she recalled. “I’m like, ‘You couldn’t remember I was your wife when I was your wife. Now I’m not your wife.’”

Despite the selective memory — which didn’t shock Davis, given Noth was “weirdly in the moment in weird ways” — Moynahan made sure to clarify that she still does “love Chris.”

Noth reprised his role in the widely panned “Sex and the City” films and was killed off in the 2021 premiere of HBO Max’s polarizing spinoff, “And Just Like That…,” which ended this summer. The “Law & Order” alum’s reputation quickly took a hit amid a barrage of sexual assault allegations he faced in the weeks that followed.

Moynahan, meanwhile, who most recently starred in all 14 seasons of the CBS series “Blue Bloods,” appeared briefly as Natasha again in the first season of “AJLT,” after Carrie learns Big left Natasha $1 million in his will.
