Where to buy tickets, best prices

This is pretty, pretty, pretty crazy.

In mid-June, “Curb Your Enthusiasm” star Larry David announced he was dropping into New York City’s Beacon Theatre for a conversation with MSNBC’s Willie Geist on Tuesday, Oct. 21.

Now, four months later, last-minute ticket prices to see the 77-year-old crotchety comic live are reaching astronomical proportions.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on seats for the one-night-only chat was $913 including fees on Vivid Seats.

Yes, Lar is fetching Taylor Swift-like prices.

As for his “Seinfeld” counterpart, tickets start at $103 including fees to see Jerry Seinfeld at the Beacon this fall and winter.

According to a press release, David and Geist will chat about his “time on ‘Seinfeld,’ ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm,’ and everything in between” at the one-off show.

Based on our findings, this will be the sole ‘A Conversation With Larry David Tour’ show in 2025; last year, he went on a ten-gig run all over the U.S.

“I was surprised by how many stories I’d never heard before. And getting that inside scoop on how they were woven into the shows? It was like a whole new level of appreciation for ‘Seinfeld’ and ‘Curb.’” Gothamology writer Kate Elfatah noted about David’s October 2024 Philadelphia show. “David’s genuine enthusiasm and his rapport with [moderator Jeff] Schaffer made the stories feel fresh.”

Elfatah continued “…seeing Larry David seemingly enjoy himself while sharing his comedic journey was a treat. LD seemed genuine and sincere and at times you could see him laughing (very hard) at some of the stories or scenes that were being shown. I was a huge fan before and even bigger one after.”

Hmm. Maybe that hefty price tag isn’t so bad after all.
