A man was shot Friday evening on a Brooklyn street blocks away from Prospect Park, cops said.
Cops rushed to the scene near E. 18th St. and Church Ave. in Flatbush around 8:37 p.m. where a 42-year-old man was shot in the leg and abdomen.
“I came out and he was lying on his side, shot twice, bleeding,” a witness said. “Everyone was screaming and panicking.”
Meanwhile, the victim kept cool.
“He was nice and calm,” the witness added, “talking on his cell phone to his baby mama. It’s crazy.”
EMS rushed the victim to Kings County Hospital where he was in stable condition.
Cops believe the man was the intended target since the gunman walked straight up to him and fired two gunshots, police sources said.
No arrests have been made as cops are trying to track down the gunman.
