Alexandra Kay is setting the record straight.
The singer, 34, opened up about rumors of a romance between her friend, Maggie Baugh, and Keith Urban following his split from Nicole Kidman after 19 years of marriage.
Kay told Taste of Country that there’s nothing going on between the guitarist, 25, and country superstar, 57.
“Honestly, I was heartbroken for them because the media scrutiny is insane and the things that people say,” she said in an interview on Wednesday. “They’re like, stirring up rumors about Maggie Baugh, and I’m like, ‘She’s a good friend of mine and I know that’s absolutely not true.’”
“I’ve met her boyfriend, and she’s very happy, and she has nothing to do with that whole relationship [with Urban],” Kay added.
“I feel sad for everybody involved that people are doing that and picking apart their personal life,” continued the artist. “I pray for peace for them and for everybody to have their privacy.”
The Post reached out to Baugh and Urban’s reps.
Urban performed for the first time since the news broke earlier this month at Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania — without Baugh.
Her dad has also addressed the claims of a romance between the colleagues.
“I don’t know anything about it, other than she’s a guitar player for him,” he told Daily Mail on Thursday.
Baugh’s father, who first met Urban last year during a concert in Las Vegas, said that he believes the nature of their relationship is strictly professional.
“It’s more of a musician thing than a dating thing,” he added, before noting that he hasn’t “heard one way or the other.”
Rumors began to swirl after Kidman, 58, filed for divorce last month. Court documents obtained by The Post revealed that she cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the breakup.
Allegedly, the estranged couple’s inner circle believes Urban is involved with another woman, TMZ reported the same day that the actress filed.
The estranged pair, who tied the knot in 2006, share daughters Sunday, 17, and Faith, 14.
“All the signs point to the fact Keith is with another woman. Let’s just say, Nicole doesn’t dispute that, but she’s still shocked over it,” multiple sources told the outlet.
One insider close to Kidman noted, “It’s all over Nashville.”
“Sometimes relationships just run their course,” a separate source told Page Six at the time, explaining that Kidman did not want to split and tried saving their relationship.
Sources also claim the pair has been living separately “since the beginning of summer.”
Kidman has allegedly been taking care of their two children, while “holding the family together through this difficult time since Keith has been gone,” with TMZ reporting that the exes have already hashed out a parenting plan.
Their daughters will allegedly spend 306 days with their mom and 59 days with their dad. Kidman and Urban also reportedly agreed that they will make all major decisions about the girls jointly.
Even some of their famous pals were shocked by the breakup.
Isla Fisher spoke out about the split while on Thursday’s episode of Dana Carvey and David Spade’s “Fly on the Wall” podcast.
“I’ve been married for 23 years. I only just got… separated, divorced,” Fisher, 49, began about her own divorce from Sacha Baron Cohen.
“Do you feel happy? Not happy, but probably — you’re friends with Nicole Kidman. And now maybe she’s going through something [similar],” Carvey, 70, inquired.
“I’m really, really, really shocked,” Fisher expressed. “I have left a message, I have not connected yet, but I don’t really wanna comment on that because there are children involved.”
