Where to buy tickets, best prices

The Goonies really weren’t lying when they said “never say die.”

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Richard Donner’s classic 1985 film, Corey Feldman (Mouth) and Kerri Green (Andy) are taking their swashbuckling tale of underground adventure to four Northeast venues in March 2026.

That includes stops at Newark’s New Jersey Performing Arts Center on Friday, March 20 and Patchogue’s Patchogue Theatre on Sunday, March 22.

Once the screenings have concluded, Feldman and Green will “share behind-the-scenes stories, hilarious personal anecdotes, and answer your questions” according to a press release.

If you want to be there, tickets are available for all four showings.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on seats was $63 including fees on Vivid Seats.

All other shows have tickets starting anywhere from $71 to $94 including fees.

For those who don’t recall, “The Goonies” tells the tale of a ragtag group of youngsters from Astoria, OR’s “Goon Docks.” Upon hearing their homes are being sold to the local country club, the bunch of teens — Sean Astin’s fearless leader Michael “Mikey” Walsh, Oscar winner KeHuy Quan’s brainy Richard “Data” Wang, Corey Feldman’s aforementioned Clark “Mouth” Devereaux, and Jeff Cohen’s iconic Lawrence “Chunk” Cohen — take action and head underground to find the pirate “One-Eyed Willy’s” treasure riches using a map found in the attic to save the town.

They’re joined by Josh Brolin and Green (in their film debuts) as well as Martha Plimpton.

Rounding out the cast are “The Fratellis,” made up of Mama (Anne Ramsey), Francis (Joe Pantoliano), Jake (Robert Davi) and the lovable Sloth (John Matuszak).

In a three-star review of the film, Roger Ebert wrote “The Goonies” is a smooth mixture of the usual ingredients from Steven Spielberg action movies, made special because of the high-energy performances of the kids who have the adventures…’The Goonies,’ like ‘Gremlins,’ shows that Spielberg and his directors are absolute masters of how to excite and involve an audience.”
