2025 New York City Marathon recap


Tens of thousands of runners hit the pavement for the 54th annual New York City Marathon on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025. More than 50,000 people competed in the 26.2-mile race from Staten Island to the finish line in Central Park. This year’s winners were Benson Kipruto, of Kenya, for the men and Hellen Obiri, of Kenya, for the women.
