How to stream The Rock in ‘The Smashing Machine’ now at home



One month after debuting in theaters, “The Smashing Machine” is now available to stream at home.

The new sports biopic from A24 stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as MMA fighter and UFC world champion Mark Kerr. “The Smashing Machine” follows Kerr’s career as an obsession with greatness made him a legend and nearly cost him everything in the process.

Emily Blunt co-stars in the film as Dawn Staples, Kerr’s ex-wife.

“The Smashing Machine” premiered at the Venice International Film Festival in August 2025, where its director, Benny Safdie, won the Silver Lion for Best Direction.

“The Smashing Machine” is streaming on-demand on platforms like Prime Video now! “The Smashing Machine” was released on digital Nov. 4.

“The Smashing Machine” is available for digital purchase on Prime Video. The film costs $24.99 to buy or $19.99 to rent.

While you won’t have to be a paid Amazon Prime member to buy “The Smashing Machine,” you will need at least a free Amazon account; that way, you can return to watch “The Smashing Machine” whenever you want to.

Video-on-demand rentals are good for 30 days, but expire 48 hours after you first hit play on a rented title.
