Woman delivering packages in Brooklyn shot in face with pellet gun

A woman delivering packages to a Brooklyn apartment building earlier this month was shot with a pellet gun during a dispute, cops said.

The 30-year-old victim was dropping some packages off at the NYCHA Breukelen Houses near E. 103rd St. and Flatlands Ave. in Canarsie on Nov. 4 around 7 p.m. when someone approached her and started an argument, and the dispute turned physical, police said.

After the fight, the victim was heading to her car to leave. But the suspect followed her and shot her with the pellet gun, striking her in the face, causing pain and swelling, cops said.

EMS transported the victim to Brookdale University Hospital, where she was in stable condition.

It was unclear what sparked the dispute. It wasn’t immediately known what delivery company the victim worked for.

Police released a sketch of the suspect, who fled the scene on foot, in hopes the public can help identify the shooter.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
