Exclusive | Quentin Tarantino’s wife Daniella makes rare remarks about marriage

Once upon a time in Hollywood, Quentin Tarantino surprised his wife.

Daniella Pick, who tied the knot with the famed filmmaker, 62, in 2018, is recounting the sweet way Tarantino has made the holidays special for her.

“There was something really surprising that he did, that I didn’t expect him to do, because it was something that I wouldn’t think that he would actually do,” she exclusively told The Post while promoting her new film “The Perfect Gamble.”

“It was with a lot of planning and things in detail. And I was really taken by that.”

Daniella Pick talks about her new film “The Perfect Gamble” and her marriage.

“I think it was the second year where we just started going out or something and it was the first year that was Christmas and Hanukkah at the same time,” Pick, 41, recalled. “I remember I just landed in LA because I had work in Israel, and I came to LA and it was like six in the morning and I came to the house. It was just all filled with a menorah and Hanukkah stuff and the Christmas stuff and all the presents. And it was the first time I ever experienced a Christmas thing.”

What was even more special was Tarantino’s attention to detail.

The cast of “The Perfect Gamble” talks to the New York Post’s Alexandra Bellusci.

“He really made sure that there was a lot of things, for me as a Jewish person, for Hanukkah. And that was just so sweet. And for me, it’s those kind of things, just thinking about the person you love and thinking what would make them feel at home and that he sees you that way,” she continued. “For me, that was very surprising, emotional and that was amazing.”

Tarantino has also been Pick’s biggest fan when it comes to her acting career.

While portraying Sonia in the “Perfect Gamble,” the actress ran lines at home while caring for their two kids — Leo, 5 and a daughter, 3.

“He always has great advice,” Pick gushed about her husband. “I mean, I always ask for his advice, but he always says, ‘Oh, that’s great, that’s great. Keep on doing that.’ So I just try to ask him, should I do this this way or that way? So it’s just little things. … He’s heard those scenes that I’m in a hundred times. I mean, I did it constantly. I was walking around in the house doing laundry, cooking with the kids and doing Sonia’s lines. So he was living with Sonia for a while.”

“I’m a pro. I’m a pro,” she added. “I was Sonia all the time.”

The action thriller is Pick’s second role ever. The project follows Charlie (David Arquette) who is released from prison and becomes entangled with the mafia after opening an illegal casino.

Pick previously starred in her husband’s 2019 movie “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.”

“The specific time between ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ and the ‘Perfect Gamble,’ I had two kids. So that sums up what I was doing for a few years. I was pretty busy,” she told The Post.

“But as soon as I could go back to a fun role like that, and Danny [Abeckaser] gave me a great opportunity. And meeting David was amazing. They both were just so, so supportive of me. And I really felt safe and I really felt like I’m in my element and that I’m in the right place of what I’m doing.”

Pick added that working on the project reminded her “what I love about this job.”

“Acting is something that I was afraid even to dream about doing for a while because I was just busy modeling and singing and doing other things. But it really brought me back to one of my earliest passions in life and growing up. So I’m really just thankful for Danny and for David, for looking at me that way and seeing everything that I felt from within.”

Pick also detailed the magic of working with Arquette, 54, for the first time.

“It’s funny because the first day of shooting and the first scene that we had together was very intense and very emotional, and I was feeling vulnerable as Daniella. I was feeling vulnerable meeting an actor that I don’t really know,” she said. “Now he’s a friend of mine.”

Pick explained she was “really bringing a lot of things into this from myself,” but noted that the “Scream” vet was fully there for her during the scene, much like their characters in the film.

“So I really feel that both things happened that day and that connected us a lot as people. And then it was a lot more natural for us to continue and taking Charlie and Soni on that path. Because we are already feeling close to each other from that day, and we just had that natural chemistry that we both felt.”

“That was a really intense day to start shooting the movie,” Pick continued. “But at the same time, it gave us so much confidence to continue doing that and digging deeper.”

“The Perfect Gamble” hits Prime Video and Apple TV+ on Friday, Nov. 14.
