He’s a wizard after all!
On Wednesday, Jeff Goldblum’s Madame Tussauds wax statue was unveiled alongside the actor, 73, at the famed New York City museum.
Goldblum’s wax figure wore a black shirt, pants and matching jacket and rocked his signature black framed glasses.
The real “Jurassic Park” star donned an all white outfit and the same glasses as he cheekily posed for pictures next to his look alike.
Goldblum’s wax figure comes amid his press tour for “Wicked: For Good.”
The actor plays the Wizard in the two-part film adaptation of the hit Broadway musical “Wicked.”
Last month, director Jon M. Chu, 45, opened up about directing the iconic movies.
“It was like a kindergarten set all the time,” he told The Post.
“Everyone was playing. I mean, Johnny [Bailey] and Ari [Grande] together is insane. Then you throw Bowen [Yang] in there and Cynthia [Erivo]!”
Although Chu was popular amongst his cast, he sometimes felt like he “had to be a teacher.”
“The spirit of the movie had to be like that,” he explained. “And so we had to always play, and they had to trust that I would protect them in the edits. And I think that comes out of it. So that was really fun.”
Along with Goldblum, “Wicked” stars Grande, 32, as Glinda the Good Witch, Erivo, 38, as Elphaba, and Bailey, 37, as Prince Fiyero.
And behind the scenes, everyone on set was dancing through life.
“I loved their rehearsals because the pressure’s on,” Chu detailed. “Everyone’s expecting a lot from Glinda and Elphaba. They’re so confident in what they do, but we are all scared because we’re taking on such beloved properties.”
“But we would sit on the on the floor of my office to rehearse,” he added. “We wouldn’t be standing up. They loved the floor, they had to feel the ground. So, we’d be there and we talk about every line — everything. We’d try different versions. And working it out like that was really beautiful for us to find our way in to this Oz.“
After part one of “Wicked” hit theaters in Nov. 2024, the pop culture phenomenon took off.
Moviegoers turned screenings into massive singalongs, and Grande and Erivo went viral for communicating through touch during their press tour.
Chu didn’t see the impact coming.
“I know people love ‘Wicked,’ but to see them fall in love with Elphaba and Glinda in this form, with Ariana and Cynthia, to understand the power that they have. That’s been the best.”
“To see my little girls and my little sons as well, fall in love with the world of Oz,” he gushed to The Post. “‘Wizard of Oz’ is so old and ‘Wicked’ has been around for 20 years. That has been the best part of my whole life. They love what I do for a living now, it’s great.”
On Wednesday, Goldblum took a moment to gush over his bond with Bailey.
“We have each other,” he said while on “Today,” before simply adding, “I love this movie.”
Meanwhile, last week, Goldblum was at the Singapore premiere where Grande was charged at by a person.
The man who charged at Grande is Johnson Wen, known as “Pyjama Man” on social media. He shared a video of the incident on his own Instagram account that has 9,000 followers, writing, “@arianagrande @wickedmovie Dear Ariana Grande Thank You for letting me Jump on the Yellow Carpet with You ❤️.”
Following the incident, Wen posted a video of himself to his Instagram Story and said: “I’m free after being arrested.”
Wen was charged with being a public nuisance in Singapore last Friday, per the BBC.
