LI woman charged with murder of man found dead at yacht club

A Long Island woman was arrested and charged with murder in the death of a man whose body was found outside a yacht club earlier this month, authorities said Thursday.

Kacy Corso, a 33-year-old Setauket resident, was charged with second-degree murder in the death of Christopher Millwater, Suffolk County police said in an alert.

Millwater, a 52-year-old Selden native, was found dead outside Stony Brook Yacht Club on Nov. 10. He had been stabbed to death, cops said.

Police did not release any evidence or information on what led them to identify Corso as the suspected killer. However, posts from a Facebook account indicate prior interaction between two New York residents named Kacy Corso and Christopher Millwater.

“Whoever knows Christopher Millwater he is a grave robber…  who [the f-k] steals a marker to a person’s final resting place because he can’t accept NO for an answer or won’t accept I DON’T WANT TO BE WITH HIM,” the Kacy Corso account wrote on July 26. “As you can see… psycho much?? If anyone knows him better talk some sense into him before it’s too late.”

The post included photos of multiple messages from a Christopher Millwater account and a series of photos. A few days later, the same Corso account shared a screenshot of a message to Millwater asking him to leave her alone.

Corso was arrested Wednesday, and her arraignment is scheduled for Thursday in Central Islip.
