President Trump’s name has been added to the facade of the the US Institute of Peace’s building as he prepares to host a deal-signing there on Thursday.
His name “Donald J. Trump” is now embossed just above the engraved words “United States Institute of Peace” at the entrance of the building just north of the Lincoln Memorial.
Trump, who routinely boasts about brokering international peace agreements, is visiting the institute to host a deal-signing between the leaders of Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The building was completed in 2011 on Constitution Avenue and is the first edifice seen by many visitors to the capital who are driving in from Virginia.
