President Trump was awarded the first-ever FIFA Peace Prize on Friday for his “exceptional and extraordinary actions” in promoting unity across the globe.

“This is your prize, this is your peace prize,” FIFA president Gianni Infantino said as he bestowed the honor ahead of the 2026 World Cup draw in Washington, DC.

Trump accepted the medal and put it around his neck, thanking the crowd for the “tremendous honor.”
