Exclusive | Spotify declares Taylor Swift’s No. 1 superfan worldwide with 7,500 hours of listening in 2025

Emma Wood is on a Swift rise to worldwide superstardom.

The 13-year-old, an eighth-grade student with an abiding affinity for music, is Taylor Swift’s No. 1 listener on the planet, per Spotify leaderboards — a new feature of the streaming platform’s annual “Wrapped” roundup that ranks fans based on total listening minutes.

Emma has played and replayed Swift’s full discography of hits — her favorite being 2024 ballad “The Albatross” — for nearly 500,000 minutes since January.

But even with her repeated spins, being crowned the “Life of a Showgirl” singer’s biggest buff is an honor the teen couldn’t have imagined earning in her “Wildest Dreams.”

“I was shocked. I was like ‘Oh…My…God!,’” Emma, based just outside of Pittsburgh, Penn., exclusively tells The Post. She shared the news of her first-place supremacy via TikTok on Dec. 4.

The Post also reached out to Swift’s team for comment on Emma’s accomplishment.

“At first I thought it was just a United States thing, then someone pointed out that it was global and I didn’t even know what to feel,” she said. “I listened to her music for 449,280 minutes for 312 days straight.”

“It was chaotic.”

The chaos, too, caused a commotion online after Emma shared her stellar status with over 9.7 million social media viewers — a faction of which attacked the Gen Alpha for her unparalleled fandom.

“Being top listener of the most popular artist worldwide is genuinely insane,” one critic commented.

“Oh, that’s not something to be proud of,” wrote a troll.

“I worry for you, girl,” spat another.

Emma’s mom, Monica, however, isn’t worried about her daughter’s love for the “Lover” luminary — an obsession that began at age 2 in 2014 thanks to her older sister’s addiction to the chart-topper “Shake It Off.”

Instead, the mother of four tells The Post she’s “proud” of her cub for seeking solace in Swift’s songs.

“I used to tease her about being a Taylor Swift stalker,” Monica, 40, joked, adding that Emma’s bedroom walls are plastered with the VIP blonde’s pictures, posters and album art.

“But then I realized Emma was listening to her for a good reason,” she continued, “and I’m really proud that she’s the top listener.”

It’s a title Emma’s achieved through tears.

“Taylor has got me through the toughest times of my life,” confessed the youngster.

“Last year, I was going through severe depression and anxiety,” said Emma, who is in therapy. “One of the things that really calmed me down from that was Taylor’s music.”

The soothing sounds of the pop star are the first thing Emma hears each morning. And they’re the soft tones that lull her to sleep every night.

“The only time I’m not listening to Taylor is when I’m in school,” said the diehard devotee, who’s yet to see her idol perform live in concert due to Monica’s congestive heart failure — a diagnosis that precludes the mom from going to lively shows. “I used to sneak-listen to her through my earphones, but my new school has a strict policy against that.”

But once the end-of-day bell tolls, Emma’s ears are swiftly reunited with Swift. The kid lauds the Grammy winner as her greatest inspiration.

“I began playing the violin and the trumpet because of her,” said Emma. “I want to be so many things in life, but because of Taylor, I mostly want to be a singer or a poet or a songwriter. She inspires me so much.”

“She went from being a small-town girl to a big artist who inspires so many people,” she gushed. “I hope to be like her someday.”
