Colin Jost reads joke about Scarlett Johansson on ‘SNL’ Weekend Update

The strays keep coming at Scarlett Johansson.

For the second year in a row, Colin Jost was forced to insult his famous wife during his and Michael Che’s joke swap segment on the “Weekend Update” portion of “Saturday Night Live” this weekend.

“Tonight is our Christmas show, and we have a tradition where me and Colin give each other jokes to read that neither of us have ever seen,” Che, 42, said at the table, as Jost, 43, revealed that Che told him they weren’t doing the bit this year.

“And you know that I did not write any jokes for you,” Jost told Che, who replied, “Well, I guess you’ll just have to read mine.”

After reading two hilarious jokes about civil rights and sexual abuse victims, Jost delivered an insult about Johansson, 41.

“New research shows that millions of women leave the work force due to menopause. Which means there’s only a couple years left on my gravy train,” Jost said while laughing as a photo of the “Black Widow” actress flashed on the screen.

“My girl already be like, ‘Colin, I’m warm. Colin, I’m sweating.’ Bitch, you having a hot flash,” the comedian continued.

“But don’t worry about me, I got a backup. They don’t call Wednesday hump day for nothing,” Jost added, as a picture of Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams in Netflix’s “Wednesday” popped up on the screen.

Che tried to wrap up the segment, but he broke out into laughter alongside Jost.

During the comedy duo’s 2024 joke swap, Jost made a viral crack at his wife that was masterminded by Che.

“Costco has removed the roast beef sandwich from its menu. But I ain’t trippin’,” Jost said at the time. “I’ve been eating roast beef every night since my wife had the kid.”

A camera then panned to Johansson who was backstage with a shocked look on her face.

Jost and Johansson have been married since 2020. They share son Cosmo, 4.

“My experience of it was so funny,” Johansson told InStyle in March about the “SNL” insult, revealing that producers had given her a heads up that Che wrote a “vagina joke.”

“It was so vulgar,” she stated about the joke itself. “I just can’t believe that they went there. I was like — it was so gross. It was really gross. And, like, old-school gross.”

The “Avengers” star added, “I was like, ‘I mean, it’s a vagina joke, how bad could it be?’ And then as soon as the Costco photo came up, I was like ‘No! No, Michael!’”

During an interview with Vanity Fair in May, Johansson said that she wants revenge on Che.

“I feel like it’s almost my responsibility to come up with some way to burn Michael back,” she told the outlet. “Retaliation, I’d say, should be expected. Others on the show could support this desire. Know what I mean?”
