YouTuber Adam ‘the Woo’ Williams found dead in Fla. home

YouTuber Adam “the Woo” Williams has been found dead in his Florida home. He was 51.

The body of the internet star, who had over 1.1 million subscribers between his TheDailyWoo and adamthewoo accounts, was discovered at his Celebration, Fla. residence Monday at 2:53 p.m., during a call for unattended death, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to the Daily News. TMZ was first to report the news.

OCSO initially went to the “secured” residence for a well-being check at 12:24 p.m. but failed to make contact with the adult male who lived there.

They returned to the home after “a friend had borrowed a ladder and looked in the 3rd story window to see a male on a bed that was not moving.” That friend had seen Williams alive the day prior.

Williams was reported dead at the scene, with his cause of death pending an autopsy. Williams’ father, who lives nearby, has been notified of his death.

“Devastated” YouTuber Justin Scarred said in a Facebook post that the loss of Williams “breaks my heart.”

“The world has lost a giant, and I have lost a friend closer to me than blood. We lost Adam. I loved this man with my whole heart and I don’t know what to do or what to say,” continued Scarred. “Please pray for his parents Jim and June and his sister Faith. He had so many wonderful friends and knew that he was loved.”

Scarred remembered Williams as “a wonderful person, a true friend to me whenever I needed him” and said he “genuinely [doesn’t] know what to do without him.”

Williams’ friend Chris Yon, who spent time with him last week, said on Instagram that he was “absolutely devastated to hear of the sudden passing of my good friend Adam The Woo.”

Yon, who is “in complete shock,” said that Williams had expressed “excitement for upcoming plans on his YouTube channel” and a game they planned to attend next year.
