An unidentified male, likely a teenager, was shot in the chest in the Pelham Parkway section of the Bronx and rushed to the hospital in critical condition early Saturday night, police said.
A second victim, a 14-year-old boy, was also shot in the left arm in the same incident, and was in stable condition.
Police said a large group of teens were gathered outside 1219 Adee Ave., a building at Eastchester Gardens, a NYCHA housing development. Around 6:25 p.m., gunshots suddenly rang out, sending everyone fleeing.
The unidentified victim and the 14-year-old were both taken to Jacobi Medical Center.
The shooting’s motive was not immediately clear.
