Pamela Anderson was the first showgirl to leave the Golden Globes.
The actress, 58, revealed that she wasn’t thrilled to see Seth Rogen at last weekend’s ceremony after he created the 2022 mini-series “Pam & Tommy.”
The eight-episode Hulu show depicted the tumultuous relationship between Anderson and her ex-husband, Motley Crew co-founder Tommy Lee. The project followed the 1995 scandal of Anderson and Lee’s sex tape being stolen.
On Thursday, the “Naked Gun” star revealed on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM show that she “left” the Globes after she presented the award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy to Rose Byrne.
Before she “went right to bed,” the ’90s icon spotted Rogen, 43, in the audience.
“Seth Rogen, he did that [series] without talking to me, you know ‘Pam & Tommy,’ and that was another — I just felt like, ‘Eh.’ You know?” Anderson said to Cohen, 57. “Like how can someone make a TV series out of the difficult times in your life, and ‘I’m a living, breathing human being over here. Hello.’”
The “Watch What Happens Live” host asked if the “Baywatch” alum crossed paths with Rogen “at all” during that night.
“He was in the pit at the Golden Globes so we were close,” she recounted.
Anderson stated she felt “weird” about seeing him since he made the show, which starred Rogen, Lily James, Sebastian Stan, and Taylor Schilling.
“I may have just felt like, ’I’m not chopped liver over here,’” the “Last Showgirl” star continued. “I felt a little bit weird about it. And I felt like you know — I’ve been so busy working. I’ve done five movies in the last year. So, I’ve just been busy but sometimes it hits you and you feel kind of down.”
“I don’t know. It just felt like a little yucky. But eventually, hopefully he will, maybe he’ll reach out to me and apologize. Not that that matters,” Anderson noted.
Despite Cohen explaining that an apology might make the actress feel better, she said the situation is a complex one.
“Well, you are free game. When you are a public person they say you have no right to privacy. But your darkest, deepest secrets or your tragedies in your life shouldn’t be fair game for [a] TV series. That p—ed me off a little bit,” Anderson detailed.
It also hurt that the series portrayed “the worst time in my life,” shared the mom of two.
“I mean you’re kind of already tip-toeing around it. It’s so uncomfortable being around everybody there,” Anderson recalled about the Globes. “I mean a lot of those people [are] even from Malibu days, so I still don’t feel like I belong in those rooms. I feel like, you know, uncomfortable.”
The “V.I.P.” star said that while she didn’t “beeline” to Rogen, in her head, she “really told him how I felt.”
But, as Anderson put it: “everything’s good.”
In 2023, she told Entertainment Tonight about the series: “I have no desire to watch it. I never watched the tape, I’m never going to watch this.”
Anderson and Lee, 63, tied the knot in 1995 before splitting in 1998.
The exes share sons Brandon, 29, and Dylan, 28.
Anderson re-married four other times, including to Kid Rock, Dan Hayhurst and twice to Rick Salomon. Last year, she briefly dated her “Naked Gun” co-star Liam Neeson.
For his part, Lee has also been married four times, tying the knot with both Elaine Starchuk and Heather Locklear.
The rocker has been married to Brittany Furlan since 2019.
