Jude Law, Andrew Garfield look nearly unrecognizable as Siegfried and Roy for new show

It’s the eye of the tiger.

The first photo has emerged of Jude Law and Andrew Garfield in their costumes as Siegfried and Roy for their upcoming AppleTV+ series “Wild Things.”

Law, 53, could be seen in a platinum blonde mullet and aviators. He will play Siegfried Fischbacher.

Garfield, 42, had long hair, a soul patch, a flat cap, and glasses. He’ll play Roy Horn.

According to its official logline, “Wild Things” is based on the podcast, “Wild Things: Siegfried & Roy” and is about “the wild ride relationship tale of two of the greatest showman-magicians in history who, along with their white tigers, are tasked with turning Sin City into a family-friendly destination,” per Variety.

The logline continues, “The duo push the concept of illusion versus reality to the extreme, personally and professionally, until tragedy reframes and opens a mystery surrounding their last fateful Las Vegas show.”

The cast also includes Justin Bartha, Cameron Britton, Bill Heck, Justin Theroux, Jessica Madsen, Brett Gelman and Darius Fraser.

Siegfried and Roy were known for their outlandish outfits, and including lions and tigers in their magic act. They first met in 1957 while working on a cruise ship.

Their famous Las Vegas show, “Siegfried & Roy at The Mirage,” lasted from 1990 to 2003.

In 2003, Horn was mauled by a 600-lb. tiger named Montecore during a performance. Years later, they would take their final bow together for the last time in 2009. The illusionists reunited on stage for a charity show at the Bellagio hotel-casino to benefit the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health.

Horn died of COVID in 2020 at 75.

“Today, the world has lost one of the greats of magic, but I have lost my best friend,” Fischbacher said at the time. “From the moment we met, I knew Roy and I, together, would change the world. There could be no Siegfried without Roy, and no Roy without Siegfried.”

Fischbacher died of pancreatic cancer in 2021 at 81.

Law recently told Collider that to prepare for the role, he was “taking German classes twice a week, and magic classes start next week.”

Garfield hasn’t spoken about the role publicly yet, but he did turn heads earlier in the week when he stepped out for a date night with his girlfriend, Monica Barbaro, 35, sporting his long blonde hair beneath a hat.

“Wild Things” does not yet have an announced premiere date.
