Woman killed in hit and run in Brownsville Brooklyn: NYPD


A woman was struck and killed Friday morning in Brooklyn by a driver who then sped away, police said.

The fatal collision happened just before 6:50 a.m. at Pitkin Ave. and Osborn St. in Brownsville.

Police said the driver was heading west on Pitkin Ave. and hit the woman as she crossed the street.

She died at the scene.

There was no immediate description of the vehicle, other than its color, gray.
