“‘Shawshank Redemption’ is one. I have to say that one,” he told The Post at the LA screening of “The Gray House” on Thursday.

“‘Driving Miss Daisy,’ ‘Lean on Me.’ Those are the highlights, I think.”

Freeman starred in “Driving Miss Daisy” in 1989 alongside Jessica Tandy, Dan Aykroyd and Patti LuPone. He took home a Golden Globe for his role in the comedy drama.

“Driving Miss Daisy” went on to win for Best Picture at the 1990 Oscars and Tandy, who died in 1994, took home the trophy for Best Actress.

Freeman also starred in “Lean on Me” in 1989 and “Shawshank Redemption” in 1994.

Both Freeman and the crime drama were nominated at the 1995 Golden Globes and Oscars, but left empty-handed.

Years later, in 2004, he’d go on to take home the Academy Award for his role as Eddie “Scrap-Iron” Dupris in “Million Dollar Baby.”

Freeman first stepped into the industry in the ’60s.

These days, he’s starring in the Paramount+ thriller “Special Ops: Lioness.”

“Zoe [Saldaña] is one,” he gushed. “I remember her in ‘Warrior’ in way, way, way back, but Nicole [Kidman], I’ve been in love for her since, Jesus, I don’t know when!”

In 2024, Freeman told Collider he joined the series for three reasons: “Number one it’s a Taylor Sheridan project and I’m thrilled to be in that loop. Number two, it’s an incredible cast that I work with, Zoe and Nicole and Michale and Bruce. Just that alone is enough. To top it all off, I’m paid to do it. It’s like, ‘Okay!’ How better can it be?”

Along with showcasing his chops in front of the camera, Freeman has teamed up with Kevin Costner to executive produce “The Gray House,” which is an American historical drama miniseries.

“I said yes long before I knew we were working with Kevin,” the “Now You See Me: Now You Don’t” star recounted to The Post on Thursday. “That was a long time ago. It was a great story.”

“It’s women that are our stars and that are driving this story,” continued Freeman. “Three women vying for the Union during the Civil War. Trying to imagine what that must have been like with them in Richmond, Virginia. So, I just think you got to tell this story.”

The Golden Globes winner is continuously booked and busy, despite being a few years shy of 90.

In June, Freeman revealed one of his biggest concerns about his pending birthday.

While talking to AARP The Magazine in November, the reporter asked the “Bruce Almighty” actor his thoughts about approaching the milestone.

“Will I still be playing golf? That’s the question,” Freeman quipped.

The “Gunner” star explained he lives on a golf course and is still “pretty good at golf.”

“I mean, for a hack, I’m pretty good,” Freeman detailed. “It’s walking, stooping, bending, swinging, cussing. It’s a great sport for older adults. It’s better than bocce ball.”

Along with using a golf cart to get around the course, he still gets a good amount of exercise on the green.

“I’ve been given dispensation to take the cart into places where normally they would stop the cart. Age makes a difference,” Freeman explained. “So I can get pretty close to the greens with the cart, but you still have to do a bit of walking. I’ve got, everybody probably noticed by now, my right foot is kind of bum. It gives me a slight limp because of the ankle. So I can only walk so much before I wear it out.”

“Most days when it’s sunny, that’s what I think: ‘Are we going to be able to golf today?’”

Freeman also made it clear that retirement isn’t happening any time soon.

“There is a saying about old age, ‘Keep moving,’ and what Clint Eastwood says: ‘Don’t let the old man in,’” the Grammy nominee said to the outlet. “The way to do that is to keep getting up in the morning, keep working out in the gym, keep taking your vitamins, keep taking your prescribed meds, and keep moving. Keep moving. That is the secret to it all.”
