Guy Fieri marked his 58th birthday by debuting a fresh new look.
On Thursday, Fieri marked the occasion by posting an Instagram video that showed off his new transformation with his facial hair gone and his trademark spiky blond locks replaced with a neatly parted brunette ‘do.
“Hey there! After so many years of celebrating my birthday as Guy,” Fieri said in the video. “I figured this year I’d celebrate it as just a guy. Happy birthday to me!”
The Food Network star captioned the post, “New Year. New Guy. New Look.”
Reactions poured in over Fieri’s new look, led by a joke from his son Hunter: “Dad… when did you start selling insurance?”
While fellow chef Joshua Weissman added,”Wow, I barely recognized him. Bro looks like my car salesman. Happy birthday!!”
Fieri also updated his Instagram profile photo to a shot of himself wearing a checked shirt and sporting his new brown hair.
During an interview with People in July, Fieri discussed his iconic signature spiky blond locks and broke down how long it really took to style his hairdo.
“Everybody asks, ‘How long does it take to do your hair?’ It takes …,” he said while rubbing his hands through his hair, “That’s how long.”
