NYC dogs recreate celeb looks from the Golden Globes red carpet at first ever ‘Golden Paws’

Don’t be fooled by the paws that she’s got, she’s still Jenny from the Block.

Pekingese BeBe will be recreating Jennifer Lopez’s 2026 Golden Globes look at the inaugural Golden Paws, dubbed “pet fashion’s most glamorous night of the year.”

The 6-year-old Upper East Side pup will be strutting her stuff in a replica of J Lo’s vintage Jean-Louis Scherrer mermaid gown on the red carpet at the Jan. 26 event to be held at Racket NYC in Chelsea.

“The fabric was hard to find, believe me, we looked everywhere. So I finally decided to make it myself,” said Golden Paws organizer Anthony Rubio, who spent a week hand-sewing BeBe’s outfit.

This is not the polished pooch’s first time channeling the Bronx singer-slash-actress.

“This is her second time dressing as J Lo,” BeBe’s dad, Kevin Robarge, told The Post.

The coutured canine once wore the silver cut-out gown with black bows down the sides that Lopez sported at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2024, amid her split with Ben Affleck.

“After she got divorced, it was her coming out dress apparently,” Robarge added, laughing.

Rubio, a pet couturier who painstakingly designed and handcrafted each outfit for the 13 fur babies walking the Golden Paws red carpet, said the A-listers at this year’s awards show were particularly challenging to mimic.

“They threw a curveball at me. I love color, and somehow there was a memo sent out where everyone came dressed in black and white,” he lamented.

Finley, a 4-year-old Papillon from Turtle Bay, dressed as “Heated Rivalry” star Hudson Williams, who donned a Giorgio Armani jacket and white silk shirt at the Golden Globes, held on Jan. 11 in Los Angeles.

Her mom, Elizabeth Weinstein, who is a huge fan of the steamy HBO Max drama, requested the costume because of the canine’s similarity to Williams’ character, Shane Hollander.

“Finley is also kind of reserved. He has shiny black hair and he also has cute freckles on his nose,” said Weinstein, who is also entering Finley in the “Heated Rivalry” lookalike contest, scheduled for Feb. 1 in Washington Square Park.

Rubio’s 14-year-old chihuahua Kimba mimicked the embellished silver corset Louis Vuitton gown worn by actress Chase Infiniti, who starred opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in “One Battle After Another.”

“I decided to take the challenge and sculpt the same exact thing,” said Rubio, a Bronx native, who also hosts the Pet Gala, which recreates Met Gala looks.

“I had to build the whole infrastructure first. And it has to be, of course, comfortable for the dog. And she wore strapless, so I sewed nude fabric underneath the metallic structure.”

Six-year-old Pomeranian Dusty donned a replica of the navy blue Brunello Cucinelli velvet tux worn by Glen Powell, Golden Globe nominee for Best Performance by a Male Actor for his role in the comedy “Hit Man.”

Dusty, who lives in Harrison, NY, also accessorized like Powell, sporting a pair of blue-tinted sunglasses, which his owner, Laurie Silber, said, “mentally put him in a zone of coolness.”

“But he only likes to have them on for a quick photo,” she added.

The Golden Paws would not be complete without an awards portion — and Rubio will be doling out prizes such as Best Pet Male, Best Pet Female, Best Senior Pet, Best Pet Newcomer, and even a Lifetime Achievement Award.
