NBC News national correspondent Stephanie Gosk is moving forward with formally ending her 13-year marriage with former “Today” show host Jenna Wolfe.
The Emmy-winning broadcast journalist officially filed divorce documents on Wednesday, according to TMZ.
The legal move come more than four years after the couple quietly split in September 2021.
Wolfe, 51, later blamed the COVID-19 lockdown for taking a toll on their relationship, as they’d both been working from home. In 2023, she told People magazine they decided it was best for them to live in separate spaces but stay friendly while continuing to co-parent this children.
“When there’s two people on television, plus both kids trying to do Zoom school in a Manhattan apartment, there’s just no space anywhere,” she said at the time. “We decided after that, in order to preserve the relationship, it was better that Steph moved out.”
The women tied the knot in 2013, the same year Wolfe announced she was a lesbian and that the couple were expecting their first child. She and Gosk welcomed their daughter, Harper, later that same year. Another daughter, Quinn, was born in 2015.
Gosk has worked for as correspondent for NBC News since joining the network in 2006. Wolfe worked at “Today” as a correspondent and news anchor from 2007 to 2014, before later moving on to “First Things First” on Fox Sports.
