A 14-year-old girl was raped in Stuyvesant Town on Thursday, police said.
Germaine Parham, 33, was identified as the girl’s attacker by the NYPD, which released MTA surveillance images and a mugshot of the suspect, and is asking for the public’s help tracking him down.
Parham assaulted the teen inside a building near First Ave. and First Avenue Loop in the private, non-doorman, downtown Manhattan complex around 11:42 a.m., cops said.
He then took the girl’s phone before fleeing, according to law enforcement.
The girl was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Parham was last seen wearing a black-and-gray knitted hat, gray face covering, white coat, camouflage pants, black boots and a camo-pattern backpack.
He has 32 prior arrests since 2008, including multiple felony charges for robbery and grand larceny.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
