It’s a big deal any time LeBron James visits Madison Square Garden.
Sunday night felt a bit more special.
With James, 41, potentially playing in his final regular season game at The Garden, tickets on resale markets skyrocketed as fans clamored to get a final glimpse at the future Hall of Famer.
An hour before tip-off between the two teams, the cheapest get-in price for the Sunday evening matchup hovered above $400 each on Ticketmaster.
Available courtside tickets on the site would cost fans nearly $4,000 each.
James, who is in the final year of a two-year, $101 million deal with the Lakers, entered the 2025-26 NBA season with uncertainty regarding the future of his career.
The 21-time All-Star went 24-9 in games inside The World’s Most Famous Arena as a visitor before Sunday.
He averaged 28.2 points, 6.9 rebounds and 7.4 assists per game in those 33 games at The Garden.
In his last appearance at the arena — Feb. 1, 2025 — James’ Laker squad won with the star dominating with a triple-double: 33 points, 11 assists, 12 rebounds on 14-of-26 shooting from the field.
