Barron Trump appears to have quietly become a partner in a new beverage company.
According to registration records obtained by Newsweek, the president’s 19-year-old son is listed as one of five directors of a business called Sollos Yerba Mate Inc.
The company — which, according to SEC filings, boasts $1 million in capital — seems to be associated with the caffeinated herbal tea that’s popular in South America.
Newsweek couldn’t verify the “Barron Trump” named in the documents is indeed the first son, though the corporate filings cited a business address near the Trumps’ Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Fla. A pair of Barron’s former high school classmates are listed as directors as well.
Barron keeps a very low profile despite his parents’ public personas. Moviegoers thinking they might finally hear him speak when his mother’s documentary “Melania” opened in theaters last week were left disappointed. He also skipped the film’s premiere at the Kennedy Center.
While Barron, who turns 20 next month, is enrolled in the NYU Stern School of Business, his father has said he’s more likely to have a future in technology than in business or politics.
In a 2025 Fox News interview, President Trump recalled how he once turned Barron’s computer off only to find the machine running again minutes later.
“I said, ‘How’d you do that?’” Trump marveled.
